A former Employee of JP Morgan Chase has filed a whistle blower action with the SEC alleging that Chase committed a host of illegal acts which included:
(a) selling millions of dollars worth of credit card accounts to third party debt collectors even though Chase knew the accounts were overstated or had inaccurate balances,
(b) "robo signing" thousands of affidavits, some stacks 3 feet tall, as "busy work" during company meetings and without any personal knowledge of the facts contained therein, in order to advance Chase's pecuniary interests,
(c) routinely destroying documents like bankruptcy notices, cancellation of auto-pay notices, and other communications that should go in client files, and
(d) firing employees who complained or questioned the practices.

This is the same Chase Bank whose contractors illegally broke into a Florida women's home with a screwdriver taking her laptop, an Ipod, power tools, and several bottles of wine, even though Chase did not have an order from any Court giving it possession of the home.
